After
Bitcoin (BTC) touched a new all-time high, the
market experienced a brief dip last Friday as Trump suggested slamming the European Union with 50% tariffs due to unproductive talks.
But following an EU tariff pause agreement, Saylor’s teasing of a new BTC buy, and serious ETF inflows, the market is back on track for further growth.
The Altcoin Season Index has now improved to 29, but the market remains BTC dominant.
The AI sector put on quite the performance this week. Despite some turbulence on the weekend, the sector gained $3.1 billion in market capitalization (mcap) over the last seven days.
Its mcap now sits at around $38.2 billion, close to its highest value in 2025 so far.
