Tomarket Announces Transition From TON to Aptos for Upcoming TOMA Token Release
Tomarket has announced a significant change in its token launch strategy just days before the scheduled debut of its TOMA token.

Originally set to launch on The Open Network (TON), Tomarket will now deploy its token on the Aptos blockchain. The token is expected to launch on Dec. 20, accompanied by an airdrop for eligible players.

With a user base of 50 million and 6 million daily active users, Tomarket has gained considerable traction in the gaming sector on Telegram. Before this announcement, players had received allocations of TOMA tokens through multiple airdrop waves.

Despite these allocations, players have been unable to trade or withdraw their tokens, leading to some confusion regarding the status of the TOMA token.

Team member Miles highlighted the decision to switch to Aptos, citing its high-speed infrastructure and reliability as essential for supporting Tomarket's expanding user base.

This move reflects a broader trend among Telegram-based crypto games, many of which have launched on TON, helping drive up its market value this year.

Tomarket’s pivot follows other projects in the gaming sector, such as the tap-to-earn game MemeFi, which have opted for alternative blockchains. MemeFi recently transitioned from Ethereum’s layer-2 network Linea to Sui for its token launch.

Following the TOMA launch, Tomarket plans to enhance its offerings, including new games, improvements to its FarmingPool rewards program, and the launch of a decentralized exchange aggregator.
