In a previous article, we shared a list of DApps for Windows and Mac. Now, let’s take a look at some decentralized apps to help you seamlessly integrate crypto services with your mobile phone. Most of these DApps can be used on a desktop computer as well, but their intuitive design and versatility make them accessible to those who prefer their phones for everything crypto.

Brave (Private Web Browser)

Brave is a Chromium-based, open-source web browser developed for internet users who value data privacy and security. The browser uses an ad and tracker-blocking mechanism while ensuring a fast browsing experience, according Brave. This allows users to control cookies, block scripts and prevent websites from monitoring their behavior. The browser can be used on multiple platforms, such as Android, Linux, Windows, macOS and iOS.

Brave also has a reward function that gives users the option to view non-interruptive advertisements and earn rewards. These rewards come in the form of its native asset, Basic Attention Token (BAT) — a cryptocurrency that runs on the Ethereum, Solana, BNB Chain, Avalanche and xDAI networks.
Brave’s interface is similar to traditional browsers, since it is built on the same codebase as Chrome. The mobile version also includes a beta release of its built-in wallet that allows users to send and receive crypto assets, buy crypto with fiat and import other wallets such as MetaMask. Moreover, the developers are currently working on adding multi-chain and non-fungible token (NFT) support.

MetaMask (Blockchain Wallet)

MetaMask is a market-leading Web3 wallet that can be used to send and receive crypto assets, as well as perform transactions on Web3 applications like DeFi platforms and NFT marketplaces. It supports multiple EVM-compatible blockchains, such as Ethereum, Fantom, BNB Chain, Avalanche, etc. The wallet also has a mobile version for Android and iOS devices.
MetaMask’s mobile version allows users to play blockchain games, stake their assets, trade tokens in marketplaces and DEXs and do various other types of crypto activities on their phones.

OpenSea (NFT Marketplace)

OpenSea is a decentralized marketplace for NFTs that allows anyone to purchase, sell and auction digital assets ranging from collectibles to in-game assets, trading cards, artworks and more. It is considered the leading NFT marketplace, having set an all-time high record of more than $5 billion in monthly sales in January 2022.

While most users are probably more familiar with its web DApp, OpenSea actually has a mobile application for iOS and Android. Note that some features in the web DApp might be nonexistent on mobile, such as creating a watchlist.

The mobile DApp allows users to connect their accounts, create their own collections and buy from other users. Creators can set up their own storefronts, a mechanism that supports crowdsourcing, airdrops and other community-based activities.

Interested observers can also use the platform to view significant data, including the 24-hour, 7-day and all-time trading volume and floor prices of listed collections. They can also find out the latest trends in the NFT market.

OpenSea currently supports four blockchains: Ethereum, Polygon, Klaytn and Solana.

TrustKeys (Blockchain SuperApp)

TrustKeys Blockchain SuperApp is an Android-based digital wallet application developed by TKBlockchain Corporation. It helps cryptocurrency holders securely manage their assets, conduct trades, and connect with their peers via the platform’s built-in social network, which allows users to send end-to-end encrypted messages.

TrustKeys also offers a private key management tool that features the BIP-39 implementation, allowing for the easy restoration of access via a mnemonic phrase.

Peachfolio (DeFi Crypto Tracker)

Peachfolio is a digital asset management application and analytical tool designed to aid users in keeping track of their decentralized finance (DeFi) portfolio by offering a way to monitor DeFi tokens across multiple wallets. Peachfolio hosts an interface that displays important token values, daily percentage changes, market trends (like the biggest winners and losers) and real-time charts. Users will need to hold Peachfolio’s native token, $PCHF, in order to access its services.
The mobile decentralized application (DApp) also lets users optimize their trading strategies through features such as price alerts, detailed P&L reports and interface customization, which allows basic personalization functions like changing display currency, number formatting, notifications, etc.

Unstoppable Domains (Crypto Domain Platform)

Unstoppable Domains is a decentralized domain registration platform that utilizes a crypto name service (CNS) solution as opposed to the traditional domain name services (DNS) used by most Web2 sites, enabling users to register blockchain-based web addresses like “coinmarketcap.crypto” or “coinmarketcap.blockchain.”

Once a domain is purchased, an NFT is minted to ensure its uniqueness; then the ownership is passed on to the buyer. Note that domain owners get to keep the registration forever with no renewal fees.

Unstoppable Domains also function as wallet addresses, allowing users to perform transactions like logging into other DApps, trading on DEXs and sending and receiving crypto payments using simplified, user-made addresses instead of long alphanumeric gibberish. Users can link their domains to an external wallet address as well.

Note that blockchain-based domains are censorship-resistant, which means that they can’t be taken down by anyone.

Rarible (NFT Marketplace)

Rarible is another NFT marketplace that has a mobile version, allowing users to sell, purchase and trade various types of digital assets on their phones. Like OpenSea, Rarible also enables creators to mint artworks or collections while giving them the freedom to set their own royalties, including future sales. The platform takes a 2.5% cut.
Rarible has a governance token called RARI, which allows holders to participate in the platform’s decision-making through the Rari Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), which includes protocol upgrades, content moderation and artwork curation.
Rarible’s on-chain sales are powered by four different blockchains: Ethereum, Flow, Tezos and Polygon. You can download the DApp on Android and Apple.

Sweatcoin (Fitness Dapp)

Sweatcoin is a blockchain-powered fitness DApp that records its users’ steps daily and rewards them with its native cryptocurrency, SWEAT, that runs on NEAR Protocol. This step-counter application also allows users to take advantage of discounts on supported items and provides other exclusive perks.

People who use the application for free under the “Mover” plan get around 0.95 SWEAT for every one thousand steps and up to 150 SWEAT per month. Sweatcoin also has a premium plan that removes the limit on the number of steps that can be taken.

Sweatcoin rewards can be traded for products, PayPal vouchers and gift cards The platform is planning to add cryptocurrencies in its rewards sections.

Users can install the app on their Android and iOS devices and run it as they go about their daily business.

Sweatcoin users can also choose to become referrers, earning rewards by inviting people to use the application.

Splinterlands (NFT Game)

Splinterlands is a strategic, turn-based NFT card game where users can go head-to-head with others playing their NFT-based cards and earn token rewards whenever they win tournaments and ranked battles or accomplish quests. Note that there are more than 500 NFT cards that possess distinct attributes and skills, while other in-game assets, such as customized skins, dice, potions and land add to the experience.

All items can be traded on marketplaces, such as OpenSea, or rented to other players for passive income.

Splinterlands utilizes a game economy token called Dark Energy Crystals (DEC), which can be consumed in the game or traded with other cryptocurrencies. There is also a governance token, Splintershards (SPS), which provides players with the privilege of taking part in the game’s governance.

The game can be played on both Android and iOS devices.

Ledger Live - (Web3 Wallet)

Ledger Live is an application that serves as the native interface for Ledger hardware wallets, such as the Nano X and Nano S, allowing users to access multiple crypto, DeFi and NFT services. It also allows them to manage the holdings of their wallet conveniently. Ledger Live provides constant updates on the prices of assets in users’ portfolios across multiple accounts.

Ledger wallet owners can seamlessly link their devices to the application while capitalizing on its rigorous transaction confirmation mechanisms, which ensure security when conducting asset transfers.

The DApp also offers staking for supported assets, as well as the ability to connect to third-party wallets and stake on external sites. The DApp can be downloaded at the Playstore and the Appstore.
