The Telegram-based game MemeFi launched its MEMEFI token on the
Sui network on Nov. 22 at 1:00 p.m. UTC.
This marks a transition for the game, which previously operated on the Ethereum layer-2 Linea. The anticipated airdrop follows the token generation event.
Recent developments have clarified the airdrop allocations. Following a review process, it was revealed that
2.5 million accounts suspected of cheating were banned. Adjustments to token allocations were made earlier this week to rectify incorrect assignments, ensuring a fair distribution for eligible players.
For those interested in claiming the airdrop, OKX is the sole centralized exchange designated for this purpose. While other exchanges like Binance, Bybit and KuCoin will support the MEMEFI token, they will not facilitate airdrop claims.
Users looking to claim tokens through a self-custody wallet can begin submissions one hour before the token generation event. Although MemeFi has stated it will cover gas fees, claims indicate that users may still incur costs through other means.
MemeFi has provided a
comprehensive guide for users on how to claim their tokens, including instructions for utilizing the OKX Wallet app via Telegram for those unable to access OKX's platform in their region.
