CoinMarketCap has launched a feature to allow partners (e.g. launchpads, crypto projects) to run mystery box campaigns on the Rewards page to reach an audience of 340M+ monthly visitors, which exceeds that of Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC, WSJ, WellsFargo, Tradingview, and Etoro. (May 2021 SimilarWeb data; Alexa Rank Top 121 site).
1. CoinMarketCap will list details of the ‘Diamond Reward (NFT/Coupon/Mysterybox)’ event(s) on the Rewards page. (Log-in required).
2. Partners will share a list of Unique Promo Codes which will be uploaded to the ‘Diamond Reward (NFT/Coupon/Mysterybox)’.
3. Users will use CoinMarketCap Diamonds to purchase a ‘Diamond Reward (NFT/Coupon/Mysterybox)’.
4. Partners will select and distribute the rewards in accordance with the policies on their respective platforms.

a) Coupon & Mysterybox Reward: Users will be redirected to the Partner’s platform to redeem the reward with "Unique Promo Codes".
b) NFT Reward: CoinMarketCap will collect the user’s wallet address when the user purchases the NFT by diamond and CoinMarketCap will share the list of wallet addresses to the Partners. Partners will distribute the NFT to the wallet address directly.
* [Optional]: If there is a desire to get winners to perform a series of tasks, this must be clearly communicated up front in the campaign instructions prior to the campaign’s launch. The onus will be on the Partner to create the verification mechanisms on their platform (e.g. a form/portal hosted by the partner) to ensure that the winners perform the selected tasks prior to the redemption of the code.
b) NFT Reward: CoinMarketCap will collect the user’s wallet address when the user purchases the NFT by diamond and CoinMarketCap will share the list of wallet addresses to the Partners. Partners will distribute the NFT to the wallet address directly.

5. All campaigns must have a reward value >USD 30K
6. Do not (i) include any affiliate URLs/codes or call to action to trade/register on an exchange, (ii) make any mention of chance/lucky draw/sweepstakes that connotes any element of luck/chance, or (iii) stipulate that users purchase anything to qualify for the Mystery Box.
7. Lastly, the terms have to expressly mention that the Partner is solely responsible for the selection and distribution of assets to the winners.
8. Failure to comply will be met with immediate rejection.
Campaign Workflow
1. Finalize ‘Diamond Reward (NFT/Coupon/Mysterybox)’ Details (Co-led by Partner & CoinMarketCap)
2. >USD30K Reward Value: The campaign will run until the rewards are fully depleted. The start date is assigned by CoinMarketCap.
3. Partners will work with the CoinMarketCap team to finalize the campaign parameters

The onus will be on the Partner to create the verification mechanisms on their platform (e.g. a form/portal hosted on the partner’s portal) to check whether the winners had indeed completed the tasks prior to the redemption of the code.
