Tokens such as PEPE 2.0, FLOKI 2.0, and BOBO 2.0 have seen trading volumes soar to millions of dollars, drawn hundreds of thousands of dollars in liquidity, and transformed a few dollars into six-figure riches almost immediately.
According to CoinMarketCap data, Pepe 2.0 saw nearly $21 million in trading volume in the past 24 hours, reaching a market capitalization of over $31 million.
However, according to on-chain analysis tool Bubblemaps, the centralized behavior of a few early purchasers, who probably controlled a substantial portion of the Pepe 2.0 supply at launch and are now selling the tokens gradually.
Meanwhile, the Pepe (PEPE) coin that led the memecoin season in April and May continues to extend gains of nearly 80% over the past two weeks.
